BLOWER ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

SUMMARY: A Blower Assembly Technician is responsible for fitment and assembly for root style supercharges for operation on high performance / race engines. Will work individually or in a team environment, building various sized products with speed, accuracy and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be mechanically inclined, experienced with engines, tools, and exacting measurements.
  • Work independently and in a team environment to assemble entire products or components.
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators for use in setting clearances.
  • Rotate through tasks for specific production processes.
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the company, our products and services
  • Experience with manual machinery, specifically lathes, mills, drill press.
  • Ability to do precision work both independently and in team environment.
  • Comfortable with taking directions, respecting authority
  • Likes hard work, sometimes heavy lifting, mostly standing
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail, a strong memory and good retention.

Machine Operator

The Machine Operator is responsible for following precise direction from the supervisor in order to operate CNC Mill and or Lathe (Haas). This position will require the ability to move heavy material, deburr rough sharp edges, stack, relocate, and account for machined parts. Opportunity for advancement and benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Able to make precise measurements using caliper, micrometer, and dial indicator. 
  • Load material into machine per instruction from supervisor.
  • Operate machinery, observe machining process, ensure program operation, and check machine part accuracy.
  • Deburr sharp edges on machined parts and stack them to be ready for next operation.
  • Empty collection containers of scrap material into collection bins.
  • Clean up work area at the end of each day to make ready for next day operation.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Able to work with others in a friendly atmosphere
  • Able to take a direction from supervisor without hesitation
  • Able to arrive at work on time before your scheduled shift
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to provide own steel toe shoes for safety

Job Type: Full-time
